Online Kindergarten Registration Project expanded to 22 schools
An English Montreal School Board Online Kindergarten Registration pilot project that began two years ago with five schools, has now been expanded to include 22.
The original five elementary schools – Merton in Côte Saint-Luc, Royal Vale in NDG, Edinburgh in Montreal West, Gardenview in St. Laurent and East Hill in RDP – originally did so to avoid long lineups and parents camping outside in the days preceding this period.
Based on the success of the pilot project, nine schools took part last year.
Reservations for spots will begin at 7 am Monday, January 23, 2023 at https://www.emsb.qc.ca/reserve. Elementary School Registration Week will be January 30 to February 3, 2023. Parents will only need to fill out a form that will be available at the main EMSB website and those from the participating schools. Each reservation will be time stamped. School administrations will subsequently validate the information before making appointments. All of the other schools will continue to have registration in person the week of January 30.
For a complete list of the schools go to https://www.emsb.qc.ca/reserve.
