EMSB adopts balanced budget

On June 29, 2022, the Council of Commissioners of the English Montreal School Board adopted a balanced budget, with revenues of $400 million for the 2022-2023 academic year.

As permitted by Budgetary Rules, the EMSB has included in next year’s budget the equivalent of 15 percent of the adjusted June 30, 2021 accumulated surplus. This will allow the board to benefit from an amount of $9,242,310 in additional funds.
