Hampstead School, founded in 1925, is an English\u2011language elementary school within the English Montreal School Board. Our school serves not only the Hampstead community but a diverse and multicultural student population representing a wide range of socio\u2011economic backgrounds, including international students from countries all around the globe. The school is committed to inclusive education and offers a range of programs and services designed to support the learning and well\u2011being of all students. The school promotes an environment that values equity, access, and student success, ensuring that all learners are provided with the support they need to thrive academically and socially.<\/p>\n\n

Notre histoire<\/h3>\n

Hampstead School was established in 1925 and is an English\u2011language elementary school within the English Montreal School Board, which was created in 1998 following the reorganization of school boards along linguistic lines in Quebec. Located in the municipality of Hampstead, the school operates as part of the EMSB network serving the Island of Montreal. Hampstead School has implemented the Success for All (SFA) literacy program as part of its instructional practices to support student learning in language arts. This model benefits from both advanced students and students with learning difficulties, that all students proceed at their own pace.<\/p>\n\n

Notre communaut\u00e9 d'\u00e9l\u00e8ves<\/h3>\n

Hampstead School serves a diverse student population representing a wide range of cultural, ethnic, religious, and socio\u2011economic backgrounds. Students attend the school from several areas within our territory, including Hampstead, Notre\u2011Dame\u2011de\u2011Gr\u00e2ce, and C\u00f4te St-Luc.\n\nThe school is committed to an inclusive educational model that integrates students with special needs into the regular classroom setting and applies a range of instructional approaches, including Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiated teaching, collaborative learning, and social-emotional learning to support student growth.<\/p>\n

L'\u00e9cole Hampstead s'engage \u00e0 suivre un mod\u00e8le d'inclusion afin de r\u00e9pondre au mieux aux besoins de tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves, int\u00e9grant ainsi les enfants ayant des besoins particuliers \u00e0 l'effectif scolaire r\u00e9gulier. L'\u00e9cole Hampstead continue d'accueillir des \u00e9l\u00e8ves provenant de divers autres \u00e9tablissements. La communaut\u00e9 scolaire est fi\u00e8re du fait que les apprenants avanc\u00e9s y trouvent un programme enrichi et stimulant adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 leurs habilet\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n

Un partenariat maison-\u00e9cole r\u00e9ussi<\/h3>\n

Les parents et les enseignants travaillent en collaboration pour que les enfants apprennent que les cons\u00e9quences de leur comportement sont le r\u00e9sultat des choix li\u00e9s au comportement. Les parents doivent \u00eatre conscients des actions de leur enfant \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole afin de faire partie du processus de socialisation de l'\u00e9ducation partag\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Les parents prennent part au\u00a0Conseil d'\u00e9tablissement<\/a>\u00a0et \u00e0 l'\u00a0organisme de participation des parents<\/a>\u00a0(PPO). They also volunteer in the library & office, help organize activities and family events,\u00a0as well as, various school fundraisers<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
